Getting public skateparks built is a long complicated process compared to the private skatepark project. With experience in civics, parks and recreation, grassroots organization, skatepark design, and civil engineering, the Skatepark Crew is ready to volunteer support and guidance on any public skatepark project.
Raising money and awareness happens by getting out there in front of people. Our events are centered around the sport and art of skateboarding and the skaters that participate. Our Event Crew is made up of promoters, designers, musicians, artists, with a knack for coming up with some pretty creative and fun events.
Skateboarding lives through media. It is inextricably connected to the print, video, photo and art worlds as a mode of consumption and expression. The Media Crew is working on flexing those talents for the greater good by creating some outlets for our scene and to generate the kind of excitement only a black and white photocopied magic marker flyer can.
